The aim of establishing this scholarship program is geared towards the production of top Information Technology (IT) gurus (akin to the Mark Zuckebergs’s, the Steve Jobs, the Bill Gates) who will equally be game changers from this part of the world.

There is no doubt that IT and Artificial Interligence (AI) are directing global affairs in all aspects of human endeav our in t oday's world and for the forseeable future.

Scholarship Application Process

  1. Scholarship

The Chris Odinaka Igwe Foundation offers a specialized scholarship program in Information Technology (IT), designed to support the educational aspirations of young Nigerians. In the inaugural phase, we are privileged to award scholarships to two outstanding candidates from each of the nine clans of Isuochi, totaling 18 awardees. This initiative aims to facilitate their pursuit of a comprehensive 4 to 5-year University/Tertiary Education Program in Information Technology.

2. Interview

Upon completion of the initial assessment of all applicants, selected candidates will be invited for a scholarship interview. Additionally, candidates will be notified of the date for the aptitude exam, which is a crucial part of our selection process. From each clan, the top two candidates who excel in both the aptitude exam and interview will be chosen to receive the scholarship.

This meticulous approach ensures that we identify and support the most deserving candidates who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to pursuing a career in Information Technology (IT)

Founder - Dr Chris O Igwe

Dr. Chris Odinaka Igwe (OFR) bagged the Ordinary National Diploma (OND) from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State in 1996 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration in 2015 from the Lagos State University. He is an alumnus of Lagos Business School, Owner Manager Programme (OMP) and Harvard Business School Owner President Management Course. He Is a renowned businessman with a wealth of experience spanning over 22 years in downstream and midstream oil and gas operations, shipping and logistics and agriculture. He is the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of Chrisnak Group of Compares. He has acquired enormous Management and Entrepreneurial Education, both locally and overseas, with a track record of strategic business management and administration. Chris Igwe received the award of the investor of the year from The Sun newspaper in 2020 and 2022. He also received the Nigeria National award, the Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) for his steriing contributions to national socio-economic development.
